Utah Fall Color Watch: Snowbasin Autumn Splendor: The Ogden Valley Fall Photography Workshop with Adam Barker was a smasing success!   Adam Barker is not only a stellar photographer but he has a real knack for teaching, both indoor and outdoor sessions, in such a way that everyone understands. Personal attention was in great supply throughout the weekend as well. What a week this has been!  Several storms with a  few sunny days thrown in. Heaven!

CRAZY FOR ALL THOSE TURNS

Some say our turns are "old school" but I never get tired of looking back at the dozens of S turns my group of friends just made down a slope of fresh powder. I also loving taking pictures of them making those turns but yesterday there was no time to stop and do photography. The snow was light, the sky was blue, and there was 22 inches of new snow to enjoy. After a "powder drought" this season we were skiing fast and not stopping to pose. There was some time on the lift to snap a few shots! What a marvelous day if was.
